Teacher of Health and Social Care- Manchester

Pay: £ 168- £260 per day (depending on experience)

Contract: Full-time, Long-term, temp to perm.

Start: September 2026

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Health and Social Care Teacher to join a thriving and supportive school community in Manchester.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to begin their teaching career in a well-resourced, forward-thinking environment.

As a Teacher of Health and Social Care, you will play a key role in inspiring and engaging pupils through creative and inclusive teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional needs
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes progress and wellbeing
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support
  • Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure each child reaches their full potential
  • Contribute to school life through involvement in extracurricular activities and initiatives

The ideal Teacher of Health and Social Care will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an ECT with placement experience
  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for teaching and child development
  • Be confident in behaviour management and classroom organisation
  • Bring creativity, enthusiasm, and strong communication skills to the role
  • Have a commitment to raising achievement and supporting the wider school community
